> Connect OpenAI Codex to Unfurl with npx, a custom MCP URL, or an API key.

# Set up MCP in Codex

Endpoint: **`https://mcp.unfurl.pub/mcp`**. Product UI: [unfurl.pub/connect](https://unfurl.pub/connect) (choose Codex).

    Start a **new** Codex session, then ask it to publish HTML to Unfurl. Sign in and click **Allow** on first use.

    In **Codex Desktop** (or your Codex MCP config), add a remote MCP server and paste `https://mcp.unfurl.pub/mcp`. Save, restart if required, then complete OAuth (**Allow**).

    Create a key at **[Dashboard → API keys](https://unfurl.pub/dashboard/api-keys)**. Use it for [REST](/docs/api-reference/rest-api), or attach `Authorization: Bearer oodoc_…` if the Codex MCP entry supports headers.
