ChatGPT uses a custom connector (paste the MCP URL). npx unfurl-install is for coding agents, not ChatGPT.com.

Connect

  1. Copy https://mcp.unfurl.pub/mcp.
  2. In ChatGPT, open Settings → Apps & Connectors (or Connectors in the sidebar).
  3. Add a custom connector and paste the MCP URL as the server endpoint.
  4. On first use, sign in to Unfurl and click Allow.
Optional: create a dashboard API key for REST or for clients that send Authorization: Bearer oodoc_…. You do not paste that key on the Unfurl authorize page.
