Viewer feedback

Turn on Viewer feedback so people on your share link can click an element or select text and leave a note. You see those notes in the dashboard. Agents can list them, edit the HTML, and mark items resolved. Feedback is off until you enable it per document. It is unrelated to collaboration rooms.

Enable it

1

Open the document

In the dashboard, select the document.
2

Turn on Viewer feedback

Under Presentation, enable Viewer feedback (“Let viewers click elements or select text to leave feedback for you or your agent”).
3

Share the live link

Recipients use the same /d/[token] (or custom subdomain) URL. They do not need an Unfurl account.
Passphrase-protected pages collect feedback only after the viewer unlocks the document.

What viewers do

On the shared page they can:
  • Click an element, or select text
  • Leave a short comment
  • Submit — you get an item in the document’s feedback list

What you do

Open the document in the dashboard and use the Feedback panel. Copy open items into an LLM, or connect MCP:
  1. list_feedback — unresolved first
  2. get_document with include_html: true
  3. edit_document — not update_document
  4. resolve_feedback with an optional note
REST: GET /api/v1/documents/:id/feedback and POST /api/v1/documents/:id/feedback/:fid/resolve.
